The Artist

My island home of Tasmania is rich in the beautiful environs of coast, sea, river, mountains, forests beaches and waterfalls. These are the places I love and are the inspiration for my work. I am captivated by the colour, texture, beauty, drama and history of these places and the emotions that they evoke. Sometimes my focus is on the broad landscape or seascape: sometimes on the minutiae of the various elements that make up the whole; sometimes on the humans and animals that inhabit these spaces; always as I see it and feel it.
